Sneak Peek: Tracy and Alex

I love photographing couples that make me feel like I’m just out having a good time with friends. This shoot was non-stop laughs. We laughed A LOT. And on top of being such fun people to be around, I loved their unique style – from Alex’s collection of Pancaldi ties to Tracy’s little blue number and stylish shoes. It was so much fun to capture them together and I’m excited to share a few sneak peek images here on the blog.

Shout-out goes to Your Beauty Call for rockin’ Tracy’s hair and makeup!Check out Tracy’s hot Christian Louboutin‘s that Alex got her for the shoot. Good gift giver – not a bad quality to have in a husband. I can’t wait for the wedding this spring at Four Seasons! It’s bound to be amazing – especially with uber-fab Brit Bertino of Simply Weddings coordinating!

Britt & Michael’s Engagement

I’m excited to share some photos from Britt and Michael’s engagement session! I had a great time hanging out and capturing how these two are together – I’m pretty sure we laughed our way through the entire shoot!

Britt and Michael are from Kentucky, but they love traveling and I think it’s safe to say they have a bit of a love affair with Las Vegas. So for their engagement session we did things up Vegas-style with a trip to the fabulous Neon Museum! The bright retro signs ended up being the perfect compliment to Britt and Michael’s colorful, fun-loving personalities.

Do I spot a butt grab here? You two are so darn cute!

Kayla & Sean

Simply put, this engagement session makes me happy. Kayla and Sean couldn’t be more perfect for each other and it was such a thrill to be able to capture that special something they share. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding (only 18 days to go)!

Leanne & Danny’s Engagement

When I first met up with Leanne and Danny to chat about plans for everything, we instantly hit off. It helps that they’re the type of couple that anyone would love to be around! They love hosting parties at their place (especially football parties), traveling and trying new things. Also, I could totally relate to the fact that Leanne and Danny are dog lovers who treat their pets like part of the family. Leanne has two adorable, impossible-not-to-spoil-rotten yorkies and Danny has a sweet chocolate lab named Hershey. I’m so happy they brought them out to play for a few photos! Big thanks goes to their friends who came out to puppysit in-between.

If you couldn’t tell from the pictures, Leanne and Danny are both sports fanatics! It’s even how they first met. Leanne was first introduced to Danny at a pizza party for the soccer team she co-coached. They truly are the perfect match – even if they do root for opposing teams! Here they’re sporting their fabulous football jerseys:Danny has a beautiful vintage 1973 Chevy Pick-up truck that he has lovingly restored. I was super stoked when they agreed to take it out to the desert to play for some photos! To top things off, they also brought out a bunch of vintage luggage that had stickers of all the places they’ve traveled together.

Stay tuned for a fusion-video from Leanne & Danny’s engagement session that’s going to premiere at their wedding this fall at the Four Seasons Las Vegas (and being coordinated by the fab Brit Bertino of Simply Weddings). I’m collaborating on the fusion piece with one of my good friends and talented wedding cinematographer Terrence Lighten of Lighten Films!

Elyse & Carl’s San Fran E-Session

I’m excited to share some photos from Elyse & Carl’s engagement session in San Francisco! When trying to decide where to have their engagement session it was a toss up between here in Vegas or a destination shoot in either L.A. or San Fran. Vegas and L.A. both hold special meaning to them and are a part of there past, but they decided that exploring San Francisco together (where Carl recently moved for work) would be a fun way of celebrating their future and this new chapter of their lives. I thought it was such a sweet idea and couldn’t agree more!

To start things off, we went out for a spin with some beach cruiser bikes (one of their favorite things to do together)!

Then we headed to Baker for some fun at the beach!

I had such an incredible day and I absolutely can’t wait for Elyse & Carl’s wedding this October at Green Valley Lutheran and the beautiful Springs Preserve here in Las Vegas! Be sure to check back in the fall for lots more from these two lovebirds!

Married: Clara & Ben

Happy Wednesday! I’m excited to share a sneak peak at Clara & Ben’s e-session downtown and wedding at the lovely Four Season’s Las Vegas Resort. These two are utterly adorable together. I loved working with them and capturing their quirky, fun personalities!

Meet Clara & Ben:

The wedding day went ulta smooth thanks to their fantastic catering manager at Four Seasons, Melanie Anderson! Here’s a few images from Clara & Ben’s first sight:

Clara & Ben had duckies on their save-the-date invites and all their guests loved it so much that it stuck as a theme for their wedding. I love these little bride and groom rubber duckies!

C+B: Congrats guys!! Hope you had a blast relaxing together and honeymooning it up!

Kerryjane and Mike came out from Australia for an intimate destination wedding with close friends and family at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel & Resort. Since they weren’t able to make it out prior to the wedding week, we started things off with some casual engagement photos a couple days prior. I had a great time exploring downtown and getting to know the two of them better.

Now for a few teasers from the big day! Lets start things off with some details… I loved the cake design and adorable custom cake-topper from Etsy.com!

And Kerryjane looked amazing in her Fiorenza wedding gown…

Last, one of my favorite parts of the day was during the ceremony. In the middle, Mike’s little niece ran over to hold his hand for a couple minutes before being called back by her parents.

I’m sure it was just her way of congratulating the newlyweds. Congrats guys! It was such a beautiful day and I’m so happy I could be a part of it! Also, I must give a big shout-out to Four Seasons catering manager, Dennis Silknitter and Kerryjane’s coordination team, the fab Brit Bertino & Lori Whitelaw at Simply Weddings, for both bringing everything together and going above and beyond to ensure an amazing day.

Kelly & Orr’s Engagement Session

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter! I know I did! I enjoyed my day coloring eggs with Jayse in the morning, hanging out the fam, stuffing my face silly with my grandma’s delicious grapeleaves (the juicy ones from the bottom of the pot, mmm) and ending my night cuddled up with Jayse and Bella to watch another episode of our newest TV show, Kyle XY.

On top of all that, I’m loving springtime! With it comes perfect weather and wedding season, which is now in full swing! I have much to share, but for starters here’s a sneak peak from Kelly & Orr’s engagement session! They came out from Toronto the week of the wedding and I had a blast strolling around downtown and getting to know them better. They are such cool people and have amazing chemistry. Can you believe they’ve been together 15 years? Love it!

I LOVED Kelly’s metallic silver and gold dress – such a perfect night-out-in-the-city dress. And Orr was looking rather GQ too.

Mimi’s a freelance graphic designer, so we instantly hit it off. Oh, how I love working with other creatives! She recently moved out to Vegas, while her fiance John is back in Texas. So I was thrilled to finally him as well while he was out to visit, and to see first-hand how perfect they are together.

I’m totally pumped for Mimi & John’s wedding this June at Springs Preserve‘s Nevada State Museum! Until then, here’s some photos from their engagement session:

When I found out that one of Miriam and John’s favorite things to do together is going out star gazing, I couldn’t think of a way better end to our day than a bit of romance beneath the night sky. The lakebed was beautiful at night, and being a bit further from the lights of the Vegas strip made the stars more visible. It was magical.
