Mindy & Neil’s Wedding

After having a blast in California with these two during their Santa Monica and Venice beach engagement session, I knew the wedding would be just as great! It took place at Red Rock Hotel & Casino where Mindy an Neil got ready and had their first sight, as well as the lovely Silverstone Golf Club where they celebrated their ceremony and reception.

Mindy and Neil were both looking stunning! I loved Mindy’s La Sposa wedding gown…

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s worth mentioning again – I love first sights! They add such a romantic moment to the wedding day, not mention make things much more relaxed and give me and my couples the much needed time to create beautiful images. And I adore this moment shared between Mindy and Neil during their first sight. There’s just something about Neil’s embrace here… So loving and tender.

Of course, shoes need some love too…

And I have to give a shout to Mindy & Neil’s awesome bridesmaids and groomsmen. They had such a fun wedding party!

The reception came together perfectly in soft pinks, creams and gold. Floral & Event Design were by J and E Floral and Kevin Cordova rocked the lighting to add some extra ambiance.

One of my favorite details was the ’sweet’ little chocolate favors that accompanied each place setting:

To top things off, here’s a few images of the fab newlyweds enjoying a summer sunset over the beautiful Silverstone golf course.

Joanne & Gary’s Wedding

Hey everyone – I’ve been super busy these past few weeks and have lots of new shoots as well as other fun stuff that I can’t wait to share. So, to kick things off I’m excited to post some of Joanne and Gary’s images!

Joanne and Gary flew out from Australia for an intimate wedding with family and friends. After 13 wonderful years together they were excited to finally make things official in front of all their loved ones (many of whom they hadn’t seen since they left the UK for Australia in 2001). The wedding took place at the Wynn Hotel & Casino here in Las Vegas.

Also, here’s just a few teasers from Joanne’s trash the dress a couple days after! She was looking completely fabulous…
And I love her in these. So playful!

Elena & Alan’s Wedding

Elena and Alan are one of those up-for-anything, spur of the moment kind of couples that makes an 11-hour shoot fly by in an instant and leave you wishing for more: more childish fun at the park, more running to the ice cream man and more unforgettably romantic moments. Just scroll down to see what I mean.

The wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Viator Catholic Church here in Las Vegas. And Elena was looking absolutely radiant with hair & makeup all done up by Megan and team at Makeup in the 702.

Elena and Alan planned plenty of time in-between the ceremony and reception so that we would have time to capture some fun photos with them and their wedding party without needing to rush. This definitely provided some good goof-off opportunities!

Elena was looking fabulous as was her bridal party in their sapphire blue bridesmaid dresses!
As we were taking pictures we heard the familiar tune of ice cream man’s truck and the entire wedding party ran at a frantic pace across the park to catch it!

Of course, I had to get the wedding party rockin’ their ice cream!

Alan and his groomsmen popped champagne bottles at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. And yep, my camera got hit with a bit of it. But it was all good – it’s super tough and has endured much worse. Plus, we got the shot!
During the reception Alan performed a medley of love songs ending in an original song that he wrote especially for Elena, titled “For Sure.” It was one of the most touching moments during a reception that I’ve ever experienced. It gets me a little teary-eyed just writing about it. I mean seriously, how great would it be for the love of your life to perform a song he wrote only for you in front of all of your family and friends.
The song Alan played for Elena is also in his amazing album called A Thin Line which is available at iTunes & Amazon. I have the whole album and it’s hugely recommended.

Elena + Alan: Thanks for being such an amazing couple! And big thanks to all your family and friends for making the day truly unforgettable. :-)

I got together with Jessica and David last May for their engagement session (click here to take a peek).  And now I’m excited to announce they are officially husband and wife! The wedding was held at the lovely Red Rock Country Club and coordinated by one of my fav people and fantastic coordinator, Stephanie Smith. Add to that Jessica and David’s awesome style and crazy love for each other and it was a recipe for an amazing day.

Melissa and Josh’s Wedding

I photographed Melissa and Josh’s engagement session last June at the Neon Boneyard (click here to take a peak). And I’m excited to announce that they have now officially tied the knot!! The wedding took place at the Secret Garden and Maggianos here in Vegas, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

Erica and Rick’s Wedding

Erica and Rick came back out to Vegas this month for their wedding at the lovely, modern Aliante Hotel. It was an amazing day! Many thanks to the fab Stephanie Smith who worked with Erica from the beginning to help bring everything together and ensure it unfolded beautifully.

Now for some photos. :-) Erica and Rick looked incredible together! Rick rocked a chocolate brown tux and Erica was all dolled up by Megan at Makeup in the 702.

For her something blue, Whitney had the bottoms of her Stewart Weitzman shoes painted blue. It was such a creative touch – I loved it!

A BIG shout out must also go to Stephanie Smith who coordinated and made sure every detail was perfectly in place. I always love getting to work with Stephanie – she’s not only one of the most organized people I know, but has the biggest heart and gives her all to each and every couple.

And speaking of details, there was no shortage of eye-candy! I loved the combination of purples and greens and the old-fashioned bird cage holding the lovely programs by Bella Figura. Style Me Pretty – Vegas Inspiration to Reality

As you probably already know, I have a very big crush on a certain ultra stylish wedding website (Style Me Pretty). Abby, Elaine and all the girls at SMP are my kind of people – also obsessed with details and pretty things. So I was absolutely delighted to be a part of their new feature called the “Inspiration to Reality Challenge.” I love the whole concept and how it works! Each region puts together a team of fantastic wedding vendors, then they choose an inspiration board designed by one of SMP’s readers and put their creative juices together to bring it all to life.

I’m beyond excited to share some photos from the Inspiration to Reality shoot that our Las Vegas team put together – and that it’s a 4-part feature on the front page of Style Me Pretty this weekend!

Our shoot took place at one of my FAVORITE ceremony and reception locations here Vegas, the gorgeous Springs Preserve! I loved how the blues popped against the warm desert backdrop. And our model bride, Gabi looked stunning with hair & makeup all done up by Allyson, Lauren & Monet at Las Vegas Style Sirens.

The Vera Wang gown provided by Dawn at Couture Bride Salon was THE perfect fit. And the whole look and style was a great match for the vintage aviation theme Tracey (of Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge) came up with based off the movie The Aviator.

I first saw this dress on Gabi a couple weeks before the shoot. A bunch of us girls were hanging out in the bridal salon while Dawn was trying different dresses on Gabi. It was too funny because it was almost as if we were her bridesmaids. When she came out with this gown on there was one big synchronized “Oohh!” It was definitely THE ONE.

The ensemble was topped off by Stella & Dot Jewelry from stylist Carrie Hogan and a fantastic blue veil from MUMO hair accessories.

Details, details, details – I was definitely lovin’ all the eye candy! From the amazing feather bouquet by Emplume, the totally unique cakelets by Kristen at Gimme Some Sugar (SO love this idea to have multiple smaller cakes rather than one main one, or in addition to the main one), signature drink by Dress the Drink, peacock chair decor by Wildflower Linens, beautiful centerpiece by Randi at Naakiti Floral, the invitations that arrive in a vintage steamer trunk by Tifany at Gourmet Invitations, and so much more!

Mattie and Bart came out from Philadelphia to celebrate their wedding Vegas-style! I’m very excited to share a few photos from their day.

Mattie and Bart's WeddingMattie looked stunning! I loved her dress which had beautiful black lacing around the center. And hair and makeup was done up by Lori White.

After an intimate celebration with family and close friends, everyone hit the strip! Mattie and Bart were ready for a good time and totally down for whatever – even trekking out into the middle of Las Vegas Blvd for a quick shot.

While sitting at the slots we were all joking around and faked winning just for fun. Well, one of the things I love about Mattie is she doesn’t hold back. It was a pretty convincing scream of joy. So convincing that a man rushed over asking “How much did you win?!” Mattie and Bart were quick on their toes to name a ridiculously large number to which he replied, “Ohhhh…”. lol Good times for sure!
