Let me introduce you to Connie and Jason! C & J first met on Match.com. However, in the beginning, Connie played a few skilled rounds of ‘hard-to-get’. From ignoring his messages, to hanging up on him because she thought he was a different ‘stalker-Jason’, to showing up 30mins late to their first date because she was out shopping, she definitely put Jason to the test! But thankfully, Jason is not one to give up easy. He persisted through it all, and eventually won Connie over with his thoughtfulness, charm, and of course, great looks. Though she didn’t reveal it at the time, she did mention later that she was totally smitten after meeting him in person for the first time. ^___^
As a couple, one of the things Jason and Connie love most is simply lounging around in bed together. For their engagement shoot, we thought, let’s get a little cozy! Why the heck not!?
Part deux: Because C+J also love getting dressed up and going out, we thought, well let’s do that too! Why the heck not?! So next we headed out to the Nevada desert.
Jason is the one usually taking the photos!
Check back in a few months for more from these two and their wedding at the Vintage Estate in Napa, CA. It’s bound to be one unforgettable day!
C+J: Loved spending the day with you two & also getting to see you at L+A’s wedding! Hope you enjoy all the images! I can’t wait for it to be your turn to take that very special walk down the aisle. :-D Only 3 months to go!
When Udyogi and Nimish first wrote sharing plans for their wedding and saying, “we would be over the moon to have you do our vibrant, ethnic, outdoor wedding!!” I was excited to reply “I’m totally game!” Now, after nearly a year of planning and finally getting the chance to meet in person, I share the sentiment even more. I’m over-the-moon-and-pumped to be a part of their day! And in celebration of it being just two weeks away, I’m excited to share some images from their recent engagement session. :-)
Udyogi and Nimish are having a cultural wedding with a dynamic fusion of both their Sri Lankan and Indian heritages – both of which have very rich and beautiful traditions. To represent this in their engagement photos, Udyogi picked out this gorgeous Indian sari. I love, love, love her shoes!
It’s not all dress up for these two. They are super playful together, and surprised me by showing up with these awesome balloons!
Hair and makeup was rocked by Makeup in the 702
U+N: I had a blast with you guys can’t wait to see you both again for the wedding weekend! Two weeks and counting!! :-)
Now, you may be thinking Clay is totally Sarah’s honky-tonk hero, and you’d be right. But he’s also mine. While we were driving out to this shoot, my car got stuck in the ultra thick, post-rain lake-bed dirt. But not to worry! Before I knew it, he jumped out with chains and used his truck (the very same truck they used for their first secret-desert-picnic date) to wrangle me out. Without him, I guess you could say, this shoot never would have happened. And you’d be right!
So thanks Clay! You and Sarah made this whole day such a fun, playful, sexy adventure! But I’ll let the images tell the rest!
‘Save a horse ride a cowboy!’
Be sure to check back for lots more of these two! I am SO looking forward to their wedding next spring! It’s going to be an outdoor, country style affair at the beautiful Springs Preserve.
