I’m excited to share some photos from Britt and Michael’s engagement session! I had a great time hanging out and capturing how these two are together – I’m pretty sure we laughed our way through the entire shoot!
Britt and Michael are from Kentucky, but they love traveling and I think it’s safe to say they have a bit of a love affair with Las Vegas. So for their engagement session we did things up Vegas-style with a trip to the fabulous Neon Museum! The bright retro signs ended up being the perfect compliment to Britt and Michael’s colorful, fun-loving personalities.

Do I spot a butt grab here?
You two are so darn cute!

B+M: Thanks for an awesome time! Hope you two had a blast honeymooning it up in New Orleans!
Just had to share this cute teaser from Kayla & Sean’s steamy engagement session. Their puppy Tiffany had us cracking up.
Check back later today for lots more of these two lovebirds!
When I first met up with Leanne and Danny to chat about plans for everything, we instantly hit off. It helps that they’re the type of couple that anyone would love to be around! They love hosting parties at their place (especially football parties), traveling and trying new things. Also, I could totally relate to the fact that Leanne and Danny are dog lovers who treat their pets like part of the family. Leanne has two adorable, impossible-not-to-spoil-rotten yorkies and Danny has a sweet chocolate lab named Hershey. I’m so happy they brought them out to play for a few photos! Big thanks goes to their friends who came out to puppysit in-between.
If you couldn’t tell from the pictures, Leanne and Danny are both sports fanatics! It’s even how they first met. Leanne was first introduced to Danny at a pizza party for the soccer team she co-coached. They truly are the perfect match – even if they do root for opposing teams! Here they’re sporting their fabulous football jerseys:
Danny has a beautiful vintage 1973 Chevy Pick-up truck that he has lovingly restored. I was super stoked when they agreed to take it out to the desert to play for some photos!
To top things off, they also brought out a bunch of vintage luggage that had stickers of all the places they’ve traveled together.

Stay tuned for a fusion-video from Leanne & Danny’s engagement session that’s going to premiere at their wedding this fall at the Four Seasons Las Vegas (and being coordinated by the fab Brit Bertino of Simply Weddings).
I’m collaborating on the fusion piece with one of my good friends and talented wedding cinematographer Terrence Lighten of Lighten Films!
Hope everyone had a Happy Easter! I know I did! I enjoyed my day coloring eggs with Jayse in the morning, hanging out the fam, stuffing my face silly with my grandma’s delicious grapeleaves (the juicy ones from the bottom of the pot, mmm) and ending my night cuddled up with Jayse and Bella to watch another episode of our newest TV show, Kyle XY.
On top of all that, I’m loving springtime! With it comes perfect weather and wedding season, which is now in full swing! I have much to share, but for starters here’s a sneak peak from Kelly & Orr’s engagement session! They came out from Toronto the week of the wedding and I had a blast strolling around downtown and getting to know them better. They are such cool people and have amazing chemistry. Can you believe they’ve been together 15 years? Love it!
I LOVED Kelly’s metallic silver and gold dress – such a perfect night-out-in-the-city dress. And Orr was looking rather GQ too.

Then there was the shoes…

Hair and Makeup: Your Beauty Call
Be sure to check back in a day or two for wedding photos!
When Uri & Loren first moved out to Vegas, a hike through Mt. Charleston was one of their first adventures as a couple. So, for our engagement session we decided to hit up that very same beautiful mountain – this time covered in fresh snow! I’d been just itching to do a shoot in the snow and these two were up for anything – so it was a date! It’s quite easy to love their fun-loving personalities and that they weren’t afraid to be silly in front of a camera. My camera, to be precise! So without further ado – I present Uri and Loren:

Big shout-out goes to Francesca of Bobby Pin Beauty for doing such a fab job on Uri’s hair and makeup!

When it comes down to snowball fights, Uri’s the type of girl I’d want on my team!

Betwixt the fun and the fights, the views had that special ability to sweep in and steal your breath away for a while.

After a day full of hanging out and playing in the snow, we headed to the cozy Mount Charleston Resort for some warmth, a bite to eat and, of course, hot cocoa! And as we were walking out, we noticed it was snowing. HARD. We weren’t planning on doing more photos, but hey – how can a Vegas girl resist photographing in the SNOW? And Uri & Loren weren’t hard to convince – immediately taking to the moment and dancing in the snow. We couldn’t help but go for one more round before retreating to the warmth of our cars and driving back down the mountain. I’m so happy we did since they were some of my favorites.

I can’t wait for Uri & Loren’s wedding this fall at one of my favorite venues here in Vegas, the gorgeous Springs Preserve. Be sure to check back for lots more from these two lovebirds!
U + L: It was so awesome hanging with you guys! Thanks for going all out and braving the cold with me. You two rock! I’m even more excited for the wedding now.
I’m excited to share Chrissy & Jason’s engagement and wedding photos on the blog today! First, here’s a few from their engagement session. I was stoked when I found out that Chrissy collects vintage 40, 50 and 60′s attire. The adorable skirt below actually belonged to her great-grandmother. How cool is that?!

And this next hot little number came from the Bettie Page store. I love how playful and flirtatious they are in these!

The wedding day
With the wedding day came even more reasons to love these two. Even though a full day of pouring rain meant moving their outdoor ceremony and reception inside, it didn’t dampen their spirits in the least! The entire day was so full of positive energy and an overwhelming amount of love.

And to top things off, not only did they not sweat the rain, but they totally embraced it! Chrissy & Jason’s up-for-anything attitudes meant they were down for a bit of fun in the rain.

From our first meeting I knew this artsy couple (she’s an interior-designer and he’s an architect) needed an engagement session that showed off their playful, creative personalities.
What’s their favorite thing to do? Cook! What’s their wedding colors? Pink and grey. What were they up for? Anything! Even messing up their entire kitchen for a shoot? Bien sur! (But of course!) I’m quite sure I gave out an audible squeal of delight when I saw that they had done their kitchen with light grey cupboards and soft-pink counter tops.
I decided then: we just had to take advantage of this cooking thing they love so much! Since we were also shooting Lani and François’ destination wedding in Lille France, we added a pinch of macaroons, a dash of crepes and a whole lot of pastries to make it all complete. We tied it all together by designing a custom signing book with these images for their guests to leave their own recipes for a delicious marriage!

Lani & François were also featured on one of my fav wedding blogs, the Wedding Chicks! Click below to see the feature and tons more photos from their shoot:

Lastly, I’m super-duper excited to share the fusion video Jayse made of their shoot with my stills and his footage!
Big shout out goes to Signs by Diane who created the beautiful, handmade “Love is Sweet” sign! Her signs are perfect for photo-shoots or wedding decor, or both! I could totally see something like this being reused for a dessert display. And the engraved heart measuring spoons in the video are by Beehive Kitchenware Co.
I can’t wait for Lindy & Dang’s wedding next summer at the gorgeous Mandarin Oriental Hotel here in Las Vegas. Between their fun-loving personalities, killer style and being coordinated by the talented Juliet Douglas of Green Orchid Events, I know it’s bound to be an amazing night!
In the meantime, I’m excited to share some of the engagement session photos that we took while they were in town from Seattle. Big thanks also goes to Lori White for rocking Lindy’s hair and makeup! She looked stunning… And Dang wasn’t looking too bad either!

Lindy and Dang are both self proclaimed photo-fanatics and love taking photos everywhere they go together. I can totally relate! So before leaving Red Rock I had Dang pull his camera out of the car to do their thing:
Afterward we drove up the street for a few extra images at Red Rock Casino:

L&D: Thanks for an awesome day! Hope you two enjoy the teaser photos.
