It’s so beautiful in Central Park during the fall – with all the leaves beginning to turn and fall from the trees. So we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a little fun with Dennise and Harvey playing with them! It took us a while to gather up all these leaves – but this image pretty much sums up their personality together, so it was a definite must-have!
As night fell, we wandered out of the park.
I loved the magic feel of the street lamps so I couldn’t resist sneaking a few night shots as we left:

Dennise and Harvey first met at a little Starbucks coffee stand at their school. As Dennise stood in line one day, Harvey boldly criticized her choice of beverage and suggested his ‘special’ white chocolate mocha. Apparently – the mocha was good. She couldn’t stop thinking about him (or the mocha) after that… So this rainy little seating area in the middle of Times Square gave us the perfect excuse to grab some hot drinks and reminisce.

We all love NY!
Typically Jayse and I will warn our couples “You will get tired before we do – so tell us when you can’t take any more photos!”. We get so into it and have so much fun I think sometimes we could just shoot until our memory cards are full. (And, as we usually carry over 70GB on us, that could be quite a while!
Harvey and Dennise, however, never got tired. And neither did we. We stopped to have hot dogs, starbucks, dinner and drinks – and then kept going after that in the rain… at 1am… So it became a bit of a marathon shoot and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Thanks for such a fun time in the city guys!

Jayse and I had the immense pleasure of hanging out with fantastic New York wedding coordinator, Adrienne of Bespoke Affairs while in NYC. If you check out her website you’ll see she does INCREDIBLE, gorgeous things with her weddings!
Here’s a couple images I grabbed of her and her absolutely adorable puppy Winston while we were out for lunch:

Adrienne has the sweetest personality and you can tell she adores what she does. I love meeting people like that – they totally inspire you and renew your own passion for what you do.

Adrienne let us in on a little tip: Winston makes this super-adorable face if you say: “Puppies”. So while I may have looked a little crazy yelling “PUPPIES!” in a crowded park, it totally worked! Here’s the face below:

I’m so happy we were able to get together while we were in town. Can’t wait to come back out to New York and visit you two again soon!
Oh, and, tell Winston I said “PUPPPPPPPIES!”
Laura heard that I was coming to the east coast and wanted to set up an engagement session while I was in New York. Our friends, the fabulous photographers Justin and Mary have a great little charity going called Portrait House, and I decided that 100% of the fees I charged would go towards it.
Jayse and I had so much fun with them and I’m so happy we were able to get together for the shoot!
So, Laura and Billy love jogging and are quite fond of Central Park’s trails. In fact they knew the place so well they prevented us from getting lost – which is QUITE easy to do! And, this made it the perfect spot to capture them together.
But on the way there, I couldn’t resist taking advantage of the awesome city surroundings…

The weather forecast originally said rain (and we were fully prepared with rain protectors for our gear), but it turned out to be a perfect day. However, I did welcome the little rain we got towards the end of our shoot. I’ve always thought rain was just incredibly romantic!

Thanks for a great time you two! And thanks to my jayse for providing some excellent light!
Hello! Jayse and I are shooting in the heart of Manhattan right now and loving it! Once I’m back in Vegas I’ll blog all about the recent happenings – including weddings, Style Me Pretty feature, e-shoots, and some rockin’ trash the dresses. But for now, I just wanted to share a quick image from my trash the dress shoot on Saturday in New York City.
It’s the very last shot of a really fun night with Dennise and Harvey in Times Square:

As a super-quick summary, our trip started out right with a little excursion to Connecticut to see our favorite photographer couple Justin and Mary Marantz. We finally got to meet their dog Cooper (who catches apple pieces like no one’s business!) and see their amazingly capacious new house (with an expansive waterfront view that had Jayse and I considering moving right in with them!) Last night we had an engagement session in Central Park with the super sweet Billy and Laura (pix to come!) – and now we’re gearing up for a Trash The Dress in the Meatpacking District and Dumbo Brooklyn.
So far this trip has been amazing – all the people we’ve been able to hang out with have made this experience something I will treasure for a very long time. But no more time for reminiscing now! Time to grab a quick lunch and shoot shoot shoot!
