Regina and Mike are adventurous spirits who love being outside and exploring new places together. Their current home is in San Francisco, but they share the dream of one day making enough money to live on a yacht and travel the world! So it was quite fitting when they decided to hold an intimate destination wedding that mixed all their favorite things with all their favorite people. Their wedding took place in the Caribbean on an island that held special significance to them – ‘The Friendly Island’ of St. Martin! Mike’s parents live there, so it’s a place they have spent many summers together. And it’s also where, five years ago, Mike asked Regina for her hand in marriage with a surprise proposal in Philipsburg. They just knew that it would also be the perfect place to finally say ‘I do’!
Gina and Mike said their vows on the sandy shore of Le Sand Beach in Baie Nettle (the French side of St. Martin). To add to the intimate nature of their wedding, Mike’s brother had the honor of officiating the ceremony. He was awesome! We couldn’t let the adventure end, so we explored the island a little more the next day with a ‘Day After’ session.
